Important case dealing to late now famous businesswoman Dr Nowhera Shaik is being reviewed by the Supreme Court, India at the moment. This is on the large properties in dispute and scheduled to open 4th November 2024, a break following fiscal year. It came in the wake of a key High Court verdict in the October 2024 case.
Properties at the Center of the Dispute
In Hyderabad and other places near there, Nowhera Shaik owns several very valuable properties. The court is now examining these properties closely. The case is being heard by a team of judges comprising Justices J.B Pardiwala and Manoj Misra. Nowhera Shaik is being represented by senior advocate Kapil Sibal.
Naina Towers situated in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad is one of the main properties under review. It has a worth of ₹90 crores. The court wants to see if there are legal problems with the sale deed on this property.
Another important property is Heera Foodex Property, Mehdipatnam, Bowenpally, Ranga Reddy District. It is worth more than ₹120 crores. The court wants to know that Nowhera Shaik is the legit owner of the case and also that the case is debt free and there are no legal issues with it.
The other major properties are the Heera Retail Property in Tolichowki, Hyderabad. The area of the project covers 33,000 square yards and is worth around ₹750 crores. Ownership and whether any third parties have claims on the court are under investigation by the court.

There has been heated arguments in the case. Lawyer Dushyant Dave said that no review application is accepted unless it passes a specific test. Yet Nowhera Shaik’s legal team had presented new evidence to the Supreme Court.

Extended Deadline for Submission
The court to which Nowhera Shaik had moved in had first ordered that she submit all required documents and surrender by November 4, 2024. This deadline however was extended to 12th November 2024. There will be extra time so her team can put all the necessary legal documents together.
