The much awaited teaser of Salman Khan’s next film was to be released at the theaters on Friday the 27th December on the account of the birthday of star – Salman Khan , 59th. The makers have opted for the delay to honour the late former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who passed away on Thursday.

The film, being made under Sikandar’s production banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, was put on hold, the production house tweeted Friday. They posted on their official X handle:
“In light of the passing of our esteemed former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Ji, we regret to announce that the release of the Sikandar teaser has been postponed to 28th December 11:07 AM. In this moment of grief, DKI condoles the Nation. Thank you for understanding. – #TeamSikandar.”
New Teaser Release Date
The teaser will now be launched on Saturday, December 28, at 11:07 AM. First glimpse of this action packed movie by AR Murugadoss has fans eager. It will be released grandly in cinemas during Eid 2025.
Sikandar’s Cast and Crew
The lead is played by Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna is seen in the role of actress. Amongst the high octane action and intense drama, AR Murugadoss has directed the movie. Made under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner, it is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

Confidently deciding to defer the teaser release is because makers and Salman Khan are respecting former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. He died and the nation is mourning in seven days. The national flag will fly at half mast during this time, while many public events are cancelled or rescheduled.
